Using an AirJet Cooler

We have been using an AirJet cooler on a Unity500 with no particular
problem for several months. I installed a Female Quick Disconnect
fitting to a piece of plastic tubing from the magnet leg flowmeter and
connect this to the FTS unit. The FTS has an 8' hose that remains fairly
flexible even at low temperatures, although they do warn you not to bend
it at low temperatures, and this appears to be sufficient isolation to
avoid any vibration problems. I use a short rubber piece left over from
an unknown Varian VT system that permits me to connect the 1/4" AirJet
nipple to the standard S shaped Varian transfer dewar. I mount this
horizontally in order to provide for the slight up and down magnet motion
as the rubber donuts isolate the magnet from floor vibrations. The only
real problem we have had is in finding something suitable for supporting
the transfer line, since it is rather heavy and stiff. Right now, an
empty probe box is serving .... Any ideas for a better support would be
greatly appreciated!
