Nitrogen fills

Gang,
As an inorganic chemist whose reponsibility is to maintain the
FT-NMR at our institution (I am NOT, I repeat NOT an NMR spectroscopist!)
I have a general question that may seem mundane to most of you.
I have noticed recently that when I do a nitrogen fill on our
300MHz Oxford magnet, there appears to be a constriction in the dewar of
the magnet. When I fill with liquid N2, a back pressure develops from the
liquid N2 dewar. Normally, the flow is free but now there appears to be
something blocking the path inside the the magnet.
The question is can I gently poke something inside (a real scarry
thought!) or is there anything else I can do.

P.S. I cast my vote for Willie Shoemaker. Surely if Ozzie Osborne
can get such a raise, The Shoe is just as deserving. (Nobody reads who they
are voting for anyway, right?)
