What would be a realistic time frame from placing the order to final
acceptance.
Approximately what is the delivery window from date of contract to arrival
on the loading dock. Assuming the site is properly prepared, how much time
should we plan on for the installing engineers to build the cryostat, pump
down, shim etc. and install the console.
Are there any pitfalls we should be aware of: What if any special items
should be included in the contractual discussion to help smooth the whole
process.
I certainly would appreciate any information, success stories or even
(gasp) horror stories that may help us through the ""parenting"" ordeal.
It would also be helpful if you could indicate the vendor used, (B, V, or
J) and the size and flavor of the instrument that you installed.
