Solaris registration prompt

Hi, folks.
Since I fell victim to the snmp rootkit hack, my VNMR makeuser script fails
to do its job correctly. My workaround is to create new users either by
editing /etc/passwd, shadow, group and creating and chowning the homedir
(actually, I usually just use admintool), then executing makeuser. This is
on a VNMR server for the undergrads, so I can't take the time to do a
reinstall until Christmas. I plugged the snmp and dmi holes and fixed the
affected binaries, so it runs okay for now.
The only problem is that, upon each login for these new users, the darned
hotjava browser pops up wanting to register Solaris. This will confuse the
undergrads and I can't figure out how to make it stop. Help?
