I am posting this advertisement for a friend at Auburn.

RESEARCH FELLOW/INSTRUMENT FACILITY MANAGER: The Chemistry Department at
Auburn University invites applications for the position of Research Fellow
who will serve as Instrument Facility Manager. The facility contains NMR
and Mass Spectrometers. Responsibilities include administration and
technical management of the facility, operation and maintenance of the
instruments, user training, research support, assisting with or writing
proposals and development of collaborative research projects leading to
publications. Requirements include a Ph.D. and 3 years extensive
experience in NMR and/or Mass Spectrometry. Applicants should send a
resume, publication list, and arrange for three letters of recommendation
to be sent to Professor J.H. Hargis, Head, Department of Chemistry, Auburn
University, AL 36849-5312. Review of applications will begin September 12,
1999 and continue until a candidate is selected and recommended for hire.
