To update you regarding my software problems: When I run the above
configuration it will run ok for about 3 days. Then, after an overnite run
the vnmr windows won't work and the work is lost if it cannot be svf'd.
Logout and login fail to restore vnmr properly ie. the windows still don't
respond.
Our system administrator pointed out that the IPX is Sun4c
architecture. This is probably causing a problem because the patch
6.1AbinSOLall101 has not been throughly tested (afterall it runs 3 days!).
I have the above running fine on a spark10, but I have just gone
back to 2.5.1 on the IPX. I am going to try 6.1A with Openwin. Wish me
luck!
