NMR interfaces

We are experiencing a research lull here and so I am taking my facility more
and more into serving undergraduate education. We recently upgraded our
VXR-500 from the old Motorola 68000 computer to a Sun SPARC 5. Yesterday, I
used it for teaching for the first time. I usually use the VXR-300, which
needs the same upgrade.

I was astonished at the difference in excitement and interest. I would be
interested in any anecdotal evidence you might have that students disdain
clunky old technology but exhibit more interest in NMR when the interface is
a modern one they can relate to. It will help me advance the cause of the
300's upgrade.

I would like to keep contact with you! What should I do?

Bill
