Analytical Instrumentation Engineer
(Research Project Engineer III)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the Instrumentation Center repair &
maintenance program on campus. Provide professional engineering
service related to the repair, maintenance & calibration of
specialized instrumentation of advanced design, such as NMR
spectrometers, mass spectrometers & electron microscopes. Provide
diagnosis of instrument problems down to the circuit board
component level. Assure that an adequate inventory of repair
parts is maintained and order as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
or related field plus 5 years experience. Experience in diagnosis
& repair of analytical instrumentation down to circuit board
component level highly desired.
SALARY: $40,950-$63,200 depending on experience.
