Dear Colleagues,

Helium scarcity/expense has caused us to decommission 2 Bruker spectrometers: A 400 ultrashielded narrow bore and a 300 ultrashielded wide bore. The 400 was a solutions spectrometer and the 300 was a solids spectrometer. Both are about 22 years old. Neither magnet had any problems. Both magnets were taken down without incident by MR Resources. Both consoles are Avance vintage. The solution console had a power issue that I was not able to figure out. The solids console worked fine. There are also probes for both systems.

I was wonder what the community thought that we should do with this equipment. I assume that we are not the only ones in this situation. We want to see if we can convert at least some of the equipment in to funds in the hopes of getting a helium recycler for our remaining wide bore 600.

I would appreciate any suggestions or ideas and will summarize the responses.
Thank you very much.
Jay
