AMMRL:udeft pulse sequence

Hi,

I'm trying to implement the UDEFT 13C 1D experiment with matched adiabatic decoupling to get quantitative spectra for a compound with a quartenary carbon with a long t1.

The udeft pulse sequence available in the Bruker library isn't written exactly for this, as the decoupling extends throughout d1 and the udeft module (ie zgpg) rather than during the acquisition and udeft period only (ie zgig). This I have changed. The part that I am having some trouble with, is that in the publication it shows two "tau" periods, the first of which is the length of the acquisition time. I would assume that since the same symbol is used (with no super/subscript) that second tau period should be of the same time. In the pulse sequence it is not written that way (in fact it doesn't seem get to calculated as it is written), and it is a bit unclear in the publication whether the entire udeft module should last 2 times aq. I've been working through a few changes somewhat methodically, but no point in reinventing the wheel if I don't have to!

Has anyone modified the sequence from the bruker library to run the suppressed NOE version? Or if you've written it for another platform, how should the second tau delay be set?
