Dear Colleagues,

It has come to my attention that Erwin Hahn has passed away on September
20th. We have lost a most highly respected pioneer of our field! How many
pulse sequences do not include a "Hahn Echo" in one form or another?!

Since I have not seen a note in the AMMRL about his passing, I respectfully
"echo" the Cal announcement at
http://physics.berkeley.edu/news-events/news/20160922/remembering-erwin-hahn

In deep appreciation for his contributions to our field, which go way
beyond the Echo,

Regards
Ulrike Werner-Zwanziger
