AMMRL: NOE effect on W

Dear folks,

The strong "W coupling" is observed in the hydrogen NMR and in the 2D COSY.
Is it reasonable to say that the W coupling is responsible for NOE
correlation in the 2D NOESY?
I would appreciate if you could help me on this matter.
