Job Description
The Position
We are seeking a research associate to join a group in Protein Analytical
Chemistry. This individual will use a variety of NMR methods to perform
process validation, analyze process development samples, quantitate solution
components, and demonstrate the comparability and purity of raw materials.
The candidate will interact with other groups to develop experimental
protocols and strategies, analyze data, write reports, and contribute to
laboratory maintenance. Additional duties may include participation in the
development of future methods, involving new sample prep methods, 2D NMR,
and offline LC/NMR.
Who You Are
B.S. or M.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, or
related fields. The candidate must have a good knowledge of general
analytical methods, such as quantitative analysis, and possess good verbal,
writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Experience operating NMR
instrumentation and processing NMR data is required.
