Morning everyone,
I was tasked with the same project 5 years ago and setup all our instruments booking through google calendars (one calendar per instrument). The whole department has been using them since then. I had to create a gmail email account for each research lab, so that they could receive google invitation to access each calendar. A bit cumbersome at first but easy enough to maintain afterwards.
Cheers,
Best Regards,
Hélène

Subject: AMMRL: electronic logbook for NMR spectrometers
Hi,
we think about the introduction of electronic logbooks for our NMR spectrometer.
Easy I thought ….
Maybe, but of course there are some boundary conditions. Long term support would one of the most essential one.
Next would be user acceptance.
To keep a long story short: I would be happy to know some running installations and the experiences so far.
Greetings
Rainer
