AMMRL: Non-standard computers for VJ 3.x

Hi All,

If any of you are running or tried to run VJ 3.2 for spectrometer (especially INOVA/Mercury) control on a non-Agilent-approved computer, I would like to hear from you.

The workstation-class HP computers currently supported are too expensive for us, even with our educational discount. I'm hoping to use a cheaper desktop, like the Dell Optiplex 990, and would like to learn what has and hasn't worked for others.
