The all shim values of the 600 Unity Inova are 0s (including Z0), and the shims cannot be adjusted. The all shims are 0s when typing dgs after ran experiments, but they are not 0s after loading new shim file by typing dgs (the data on the display of the VNMRJ still is 0s). Of course, I cannot lock the sample. It won't help after rebooting the console. The line shape and line width are horrible with the water sample. I also checked the power and fuses on the shim unit and everything is ok.
It looks like that there is a problem with shim unit and, thus losing shim control. But, it is very expensive to replace entire shim unit. Is this problem with the shim CPU board? I do not have same shim unit and cannot swap to test.
