Dear Mr. Shoemaker,

could you, please, forward this email to the ammrl list?

Thank you very much.

Dear collegues,

we've been plagued by a very persistant problem that, so far, we were not
able to solve. If you have any knowledge/advice/ideas, could you, please,
share them with us. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

We have several HPXW1100 Linux with RedHat Enterprize 3 operating system
that we used to run Xwinnmr 3.1 on. We recently upgraded to Topspin 1.3.
Unfortunately, the computers start slowing down and eventually freeze
completely as we run Topspin on them. We tried the following steps:
upgraded kernel from 2.4.21-9.EL to 2.4.21-15.EL ,
added 512MB of RAM to the PCs bringing total memory to 1GB
upgraded video cards to 64MB.
None of it worked and Bruker was not able to suggest anything useful.

Regards,

Boris Itin.
