THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON, Department of Chemistry
is seeking an Assistant MR Director in the Chemistry
Instrumentation Center. The Assistant Director has major
responsibilities for training and operations of the routine
NMR portions of our facility, including three Bruker AC
spectrometers, and the facility ESR spectrometer. The
Assistant Director will teach the introductory NMR instru-
mentation courses, and assist in instruction of all other
Facility instrumentation courses. The Assistant Director
will be responsible, under the direction of the Facility
Director, for establishing new research capabilities within
the facility. Other duties are involved. A Ph.D. in
Chemistry or a related field and NMR experience is required.
This is a full-time position beginning as soon as possible.
There will be a minimum six-month probationary period. Send
