Hi everyone,
I found the reason why my lock level was inexplicably low last month.
Someone had attempted to tune 2H with the screw provided on the Varian
unibody probes, but was unsuccessful. They attempted to return the screw to
the same orientation as before but had no way of knowing what the tuning
reading was at because they weren't hooked up to the tuning port.
I tuned the lock channel by setting tn='lk' putting the lock cable on
the tuning port and setting the tuning meter to channel 1. I found the
reading to be 800+ turned the set screw and reached a minimum of 30 at an
attenuation of 8. My lock level was back and actually a little better.
Could someone provide me with a proper protocol for tuning 2H in general
on channel 4.
Thanks
Deryck
