We are in the process of upgrading/replacing two NMR spectrometers.
As part of this process we are considering the purchase of a more specialized
probe. In particular we are considering either a Nanoprobe (Varian) or a
HR-MAS (Bruker) probe. I thought it might be fruitful to consult other
researchers, in the NMR community who have experience using either or both
of these probes. I would be grateful to receive comments regarding these
probes addressing issues such as (a) over all performance of the probe
(b) sensitivity (c) lineshape (d) mechanical stability of the probe.
Finally, when users monitor the sensitivity and lineshape performance
of their probe(s) do they all use the same resin standard and if so, which
standard?
In advance thanks for everone's time.
