Jaz Drive on a SGI Indigo2

Hello-

I recall a short time back some discussion of Jaz drives and their
compatibility with various operating systems. I just got a 2GB Jaz drive
installed on my SGI indigo2 running Irix 6.2. Of course, it didn't work.
The SGI could see the drive as a Jaz drive but didn't recognize the format
of the disk(DOS) which is okay. I then reformatted the disk as a Mac disk
with no errors. However, the disk capacity came out to be only 5.88MB.
According to info from SGI, with 6.2, there should be no problem. There may
be some tricks to try here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
