There is this dude who gets $20K for changing a light bulb (at the top of a
something like 500 m tall radio antenna - check out Youtube for it!) - you
could ask him, he may agree to do the job (but will charge a fortune...) ;-)

Thanks for all the suggestions, pictures and the similar tales of woe!
Today we replaced the only light (yes, mercury vapor) accessible via the platform
(8ft) and a 16 foot A frame ladder. It was quite nerve-wracking watching from
the floor! Now we have one blindingly bright LED. I'm not sure we even need to
replace the other five. That would definitely require a structure or ladder of
25 ft from floor to ceiling. My initial height did not account for the ceiling
angle. But that actually seems less terrifying than what I watched today, on
several levels!
