“The Senior Scientist (ssNMR) position is a laboratory-based position with responsibility for using solid state NMR techniques to investigate and understand the solid-state chemistry and physics of Pfizer’s drug molecules. Responsibilities include generating ssNMR data using state-of-the-art instrumentation and computer models and interpreting the data to allow new medicines to be brought to the market. He/She serves on multidisciplinary project teams and will help to define the preferred chemical and physical attributes for new Pfizer medicines. The position is based in Groton, CT (USA).

A PhD in chemistry, physics, engineering, materials science, or pharmaceutics (or equivalent subject) and 0-4 years of relevant experience, or an MS in chemistry, physics, engineering, materials science, or pharmaceutics (or equivalent subject) and >10 years of relevant experience.”
