Summary Service Contracts Responses
1.Parts only up 300%
2.Still under warranty
3.No contract SCU $9k, rumble about monopoly
4.Moved off service contracts due to cost- labscape considered poor
5.Competitor offer for cheaper service
6.Modest increases over the years on parts contract
7.Does not use service contract
8.Bruker rep indicating they were losing money on some contracts
I see service contracts across the whole science racket to be 5-7% of
original purchase so I can’t say Bruker is out of line.
