Our campus had a university wide power spike last night (actually two of them). The result is that it took down our LC-MS and our 400 Inova (23 shim set 2004 console). After rebooting the system I could never get shims or Z0 to load. With the help of Dave vander velde, I am pretty sure that the problem is the Shim CPU board (based on the symptoms I described to Dave and the two lit LED’s). I can get the board from Agilent (part number 0190299603) but there is no return if it is not the problem. Would anyone have an idle 400 inova with that board I could use to confirm our diagnosis before I purchase it?
Thanks in advance,
