Hi Hsin,
The problem you described happened to me all the time using TS3.2. I found that if you go back to TopSpin window, redefine External Projection by right-clicking on the area for 1D spectrum to be displayed, even though the 1D spectrum is already the one you want, just do it anyway and you must then click on OK to closed the pop-up window. Click on the printer button, select your layout, and when the plot editor opens up the 1D spectrum for both dimensions should show up now.
Best wishes,
Wei

Subject: AMMRL: TopSpin plot editor layouts and projection objects
Dear AMMRL,
I created a layout that I liked for heteronuclear experiments with both projections and saved it. However, when I open the layout, the 2D plot is fine, but the 1D projections are missing. It feels the dimensions for the 1D projections are set properly, but the projection objects are not imported. Thereafter, even when I opened standard TS layout for 2D heteronuclear experiments, the projections are missing.
Has anyone seen this before? How can I get out of this? I am using TS3.5pl7.
Also, at one time I accidentally locked the layout, and cannot figure out how to unlock it.
Hsin
