For those of you who generate a mixture of Export Controlled data and non-controlled data...
What steps do you take to ensure your data is secure? We have a mixture of controlled and non-controlled data and we have a mixture of scientist with and without export control clearance status. Currently we have barred access to non-cleared personnel to instruments which may have controlled data, but I was wondering what other approaches are being applied. These non-cleared scientist can get their data programmed via proxy and then can pick up their results at a secondary mirror location, but the proxy approach is understandably very frustrating to this small subset of researchers.
