Hi Fred,
To confirm other replies, no glass sprinkler, only metal.
No sprinkler above the magnets.
The sprinkler lines should be away of the magnet too (or at least insulated to prevent water freezing inside the line or even O2 condensation if a quench occurs).
Have a nice day,

Subject: AMMRL:Stainless steel sprinkler pipes in NMR labs
Hi all-
We are getting a sprinkler system installed in our NMR rooms and a contractor has said that stainless steel is harder to work with and more prone to leaks at joints than regular steel. If you have had a sprinkler system installed have you heard anything along those lines from anyone involved in the installation?
Thanks in advance!
