Many (belated) thanks to everyone who responded to my request for information on suppliers for the metal snap-fit air connectors used on Bruker MAS probes. It turns out that these are called a 5 mm German standard connector (I think I found 14 different "standards" for this type of connector!) One supplier is a company called Legris-Pnuematics - www.legris-pneumatics.com (Thanks to Philip Dennison for pointing this out). Their North American dealers don't seem to stock this size, but their UK distributer does and we have some on order. Ulrich Haunz pointed out a German company called Heinrich Hermanns (
http://hermanns.profishop.biz/page/airsentials/schnellverschl-mb-5-eco.html ) that also has them in brass and nickel plated brass. Their website is all in German, but from the pictures, these appear to be the exact connectors that Bruker are using.
Cheers!
