I would appreciate some advice from the experienced on this mailng list:
We are planning to move our Bruker Avance 300 MHz magnet (1998 vintage) to a different room, and since it is just down the hall, it seems like we should be able to move it while cold and still charged. We are going ~50 ft down the hall, same level, no transoms or bumps to go over, and linoleum-type floors. We do not have any special noise dampening legs. Couple issues:

1. We are trying to source some small wheels that connect to the horseshoe shaped base and jack the instrument up. They did this at the Univ of Washington some time ago and it worked nicely. We will do this ourselves, possibly with the help of someone from a university.
2. There are no large metal pieces on the way, and the floor is very smooth.
3. Other issues? We have steel door frames that we can remove since the doors are very wide and may get close to the field.

Does anyone know where we can purchase or rent a set of these wheels, or what other method would you recommend? Bruker will not supply the wheels without an engineer, and we are trying to keep costs minimal. Is there anything else to consider?
