Post-Doctoral Position NMR/MRI at the University of Hasselt (UHasselt) Belgium

Purpose
Coordination of NMR-microimaging (MRI) and NMR-spectroscopy research on 9.4 and
7.4 Tesla vertical bore spectrometers.
The candidate will coordinate the bio-medical NMR-research which is oriented to
‘in vivo’ and ‘ex vivo’ MRI and spectroscopy of animal models (e.g. EAE in rats
and mice). It also includes NMR research in the field of bio-electronics.
Profile
It is expected that the candidate can work independently with a full commitment
to support PhD-students. Experience with NMR and/or MRI is highly recommended.
Experience with these animal models and animal handling is also a plus.
Diploma
PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, Bio-medical Sciences or
Bio-engineer with a chemical or bio-chemical background and with a PhD.
Start and Duration
As soon as possible and for a minimum of 2 years.
