Hello again Spinlanders,
FedEx delivered a Crowcon Gasman II oxygen level sensor today in time for a
liquid nitrogen fill. During the course of the twenty four minute fill, the
oxygen level at my desk fell from 20.8% to 20.0% v/v. We have an 18,000 BTU
wall mounted air conditioner that runs maxed out 24/7 all year long. The lab
is ca. 16' x 18' x 10'. I suspect that laboratories with less ventilation
per cubic foot will observe more profound drops in oxygen levels during
routine fills.
Just thought that some of you folks might be interested.
Kind regards,
Lawrence
