We have TS3.5pl7 and Centos 7. We just had installed a 24 sample sampleCase on an Avance III 600 where we would like to run Icon from one main automation account (not nmrsu). We have successfully gotten TS to run in an active directory environment and our 150+ users are logging in with their university credentials and we do not have to maintain password files. Each individual user can load Icon from topspin in their own account and their username is available in the dropdown menu of Icon and it properly interrogates for a password and checks against the active directory and this works. When we try to do the same from a main account that we wish to run Icon automation in the previous users are not there and I can only add them with the user manager.
Has anyone gotten Active Directory authentication in Topspin/IconNMR automation to work?
