AMMRL: question about VnmrJ LX and SMS100

Hi folks!

After many bumps, I have been able to get my new
Linux box to work with VnmrJ LX 1.1D
The only problem is the SMS 100 autosampler does not
communicate with the Linux box.

Is there a toggle or setting I need to do on the
Linux box to get communication?

I know that the SMS has a 25 pin male cable with only 9 pins,
and the computer (dell 390N) has a male serial port with 9 pins,
so in theory if I have the right converter ......

Any one else have this problem?
