Applicants are sought for the position of NMR engineer/assistant NMR
manager. This is an officer of research position at the rank of staff
associate. Duties include assisting the NMR manager in maintaining,
trouble-shooting, and repair of 4 to 5 NMR instruments, performing
regular calibrations, instructing students in NMR operation, and
improving the facility. Good interpersonal and communication skills,
a BS in science or engineering, or an electronics-related degree, or
experience in servicing NMR instruments is required. Knowledge of
Linux system administration and of NMR hardware and software is
