Dear group:
My new Merc 400 came with a Blade 1500 on which is loaded Solaris 9
and VNMRJ 1.1D.
I have found that one by one, for reasons I cannot correlate, user
accounts become impossible to log into. If I use /vnmr/bin/makeuser
as root to update the user, this does not work. Upon supplying
password, the screen goes dark and a new login screen pops up. Using
the vnmrj adm to update the user is no help either. I have to
completely wipe out the user's directory and recreate it with
makeuser. Here is the content of the user's .dt/startlog

Now, I'm guessing I have one corrupt file, maybe in .dt or maybe .cshrc
Any ideas? This has happened to at least six users over the last few months.
