Thanks to all those kind folks who shared their experiences with similar
problem.
Since posting yesterday, have replaced Aspect 3000 computer's floppy drive
interface board. Can now access 8" floppy containing ADAKOS utilities. Ran
TWINEX and found that hard disk has failed. Bruker engineers have indicated
that unit is a 160 MB Winchester drive (not a NEC drive). Would like to
replace hard drive within floppy/hard drive unit. Are compatible drives
still available? If so, from whom can they be obtained? If not, are
working floppy/hard drive units still available? If not . . . ?
Will post summary of all useful information when our system is back on line.
