Rich,

Here is my job announcement.
Thanks,

Dan

2 Postdoctoral Positions in
Bioanalytical NMR

Two openings for postdoctoral scientists are available in Dr. Daniel
Raftery's laboratory in the Chemistry Department at Purdue University.

The NIH-funded projects will involve the development and application of
new methods in NMR spectroscopy and metabonomics. This work will
primarily focus on the analysis of various types of biofluid samples. A
range of advanced and high field NMR instrumentation is available in the
laboratory and in Purdue's large NMR facility.

The positions require strong high-resolution NMR skills and an ability
to work independently as well as with graduate students and other
researchers, on- and off-campus. Interest in developing new
multidimensional NMR and statistical analysis methods and for novel
metabonomics-based studies is highly desired. Some familiarity with
bioanalytical chemistry or chromatography is considered a plus, though
not necessary. One of the positions will involve the development of
novel NMR probe hardware for advanced analysis of complex mixtures.
Interested applicants should provide a CV and arrange for two letters of
recommendation to be sent as soon as possible. Both positions are
available immediately, and will last for one year, with a second year
available by mutual consent. Applicants should feel free to contact me
directly by mail, e-mail (raftery_at_purdue.edu) or phone (765-494-6070).
