Greetings all,
I work with a second facility manager here, who will retire next year.
Unbelievably, considering how busy we are, it's not yet a closed case that
there will be a replacement for him.
I seem to remember a statistic of ~ 2.5 instruments per manager . . . but I
didn't find it using the search to go through the archives of the AMMRL.
Does anyone have survey results that give the average number instruments per
manager?
If you have other stats at your fingertips that help to document that six
spectrometers and 90 users - maintenance, research, and teaching, is an
unrealistic workload for a single person (and is still pushing it at 1.5
workers), I would really appreciate it if you could send me a copy!
Shalom,
Yael
