Dear AMMRLers,

      The next meeting of our approximately semi-annual series of the
Southern California Users of Magnets will be Dec. 6th at UCLA. (apologies
to Southern Californians who receive this twice) This meeting will
coincide with the UCLA Seaborg Symposium honoring Ad Bax and Alex Pines.
Please see below for a description of the event in detail. A map of the
UCLA campus that indicates the location of the symposium will be sent on
