Dear AMMRL members:

I received this yesterday from Prof. Greenbaum at Hunter College, and I
thought somebody out there might be able to help him. If anybody can
help him, please reply to Steve Greenbaum directly
(steve.greenbaum_at_hunter.cuny.edu ).

Dear Richard,
I've tried lots of other options without success, so I would appreciate
your assistance if you have any information that can help me. I had a
catastrophic meltdown of the VT Stack in my Chemagnetics 300 CMX (about
10 years old). It is the upper portion of the probe assembly for a
wide-bore (89mm) system and contains the heaters and temperature sensing
element. The folks at Fort Collins say it is irreparable and do not have
replacement parts. I was wondering if you might know of someone with a
recently de-commissioned instrument who would be willing to part with
their VT stack, for a price of course. Thanks very much -- Steve
