Hello Spinlanders-
Seem to recall seeing, some time ago, a warning wrt N2 fills using an
inappropriate type of liquid nitrogen dewar. Don't remember source.
Our liquid nitrogen supplier has just left a Union Carbide LS160/S. The
dewar has the liquid and vent output valves in line ( 180 degrees apart ).
The normal configuration is 90 degrees apart.
We always place a 13 psi pressure relief valve on the vent output and leave
the vent valve open while the dewar is in our laboratory.
Does anyone have any special warnings or advise when using this LS160/S for
N2 fills?
Will be away from 20 December through 2 January. Will post summary, if
requested, 3 January 2000.
TIA
Kind regards and be well all.
Lawrence
