It might be advantageous to use Mac or PC formatted disks, so if they
go bad, there might be some chance of recovery using disk tools.
(Are there any file recovery programs for UNIX??)
On most disks that experienced the "click of death", we've been able to
recover much of the information on the disk.
Iomega disks can go bad too - all we use here are Iomega disks.

Bad disks seem to happen to certain people more than others -
maybe due to their magnetic personality?
