We are in the process of purchasing a Bruker 400 MHz NMR. =20
Does anyone have experience with contracting out the LHe fills? We are =
specifically interested in doing this if the cryo supplier will provide =
some sort of "quench insurance". Rumor has it this option exists.
Second question: Does anyone have experience with using the Bruker BVT =
3300 VT controller to run a cold source other than the BCU-05 or the =
Bruker LN2 evaporative/boil-off dewars? We are looking for a single =
unit that will conveniently give us access to temperatures from RT to =
approx. -20 degrees C. I'm thinking of something like a Neslab Cyrocool =
being controlled by the BVT 3300. The VT gas would pass through a =
copper tubing coil immersed in antifreeze; cooling would be provided by =
the Cryocool, and the Cryocool would be under spectrometer control via =
the BVT 3300.
Any thoughts?
