AMMRLers,

We have a job opening for a 'hardware-oriented' person. The person we
want for the job can have anything from a doctorate on down. We are
looking for someone who is eager to expand their capabilities. I
personally think somebody with solids experience would be good because
the solids instruments seem to require so much more work to keep them
operational (but this is editorializing and should be disregarded by
those who are offended by this remark). If anyone wishes to find out
more about the job, they can e-mail me (not Ken Hewitt in Personnel).

=============================PLEASE POST==================================

EXPERIMENTAL APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST WANTED

Department of Chemistry's Instrumentation Facility at the Massachusetts

with good communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong
background in chemistry and electronics and with 3+ years experience. BS
or higher degree is highly desirable. Responsibilities include interacting
with researchers, modifying instrumentation to meet experimental needs and
ensuring full operational status of instruments including 6 NMRs, 2 MSs, 1
EPR, and smaller instruments (e.g., FT-IRs). Spectroscopic experience a
plus. Salary commensurate with experience. Please send cover letter, two
