Amazingly, I am getting major grief trying to get wooden
steps constructed here for our spectrometers. I've tried
some aluminum steps, but don't like the way they look as
well as wooden ones I've seen in other facilities. Turns
out our shop won't work with wood, and the Univ facilities
carpenters don't look kindly on doing such small jobs.
Have any of you used a company that does such things at
a reasonable price? Please let me know if you have.
