Steve;
We had a similar problem whereby the sample would stop when ejecting to stay
over the magnet bore. Did not matter if it was manually ejected or on automation.
Cleaning it was difficult and seemed to help sometimes but It was still very
flakey. Unfortunately it required 3 visits from Bruker service to finally figure
it out. It turned out to be a sensor in the BST. The sensor was not repairable
and we had to swap out the BST which was rather involved.
This was our error message:
SampleTransporter: ErrorHandling: Carrier on top of magnet bore detected by
upper BST light barrier. Please remove manually!)
Hope this gives you a little more to go on.
Best,
