We have a 300 MHz instrument with a mercury console running vnmrj 2.1D on a Unix box. Lately we have been noticing that the lock level will drop considerably during acquisition when running 1d proton only. Sometimes we will lose the lock level completely when acquiring data with just 2 scans. This does not happen with other experiments, ie. C13 or inverse experiments. I have re-callibrated the probe and the gradients but the problem still exists. Has anyone experienced this problem before or anyone know where this drop in lock level is coming from?
