i am not aware of previous discussions about this, if there are previous
threads please let me know, anyway, here are my questions:
could some of you be so kind to share your opinions and experiences on
having maintainance contracts with either major NMR spectrometer companies?
I am about to renew my own, for high field magnets, and am considering the
needs and advantages of actually having one, given the astronomic prices,
and weighting the risks of having instruments that are open to users of a
facility.
And, do any of you have any form of insurance for the magnets, concerning
the risks of quenching during helium refill? if yes, who insures you and
what are the terms, in general?
does AMMRL have a forum about this?
