Morning All,
A recently installed, used 500 Inova (Varian) has never given us the H
s/n expected. Regardless it hovers
between 200 and 290 (The lower with the used ID probe, the latter with a
new ID probe.)
I think the used ID probe should give us around 400 if it meets original
specs. The new ID
probe substantially better.
Shimming - meets spec with spinning. Does not meet spec non spinning
(25 ish at half height).
Probe changes (tried a couple) -- no real improvement
Preamp
Dual Mixer
Receiver Board
also fail to help.
We also see gradient strength about 50% what one would expect (from
profile test)-- Could
these defects have a common cause?
There must be other components I haven't checked. I would be most
grateful for any pointers.
